Get in Touch

I’m an independent celebrant based in Ormskirk, trained with the ICPC . I bring a warm, modern, and slightly mischievous approach to ceremonies, the kind that feel human, heartfelt, and never like they’ve been copied from a template.

My background in hospitality and entertainments means I’m used to supporting people through emotional moments, keeping things calm behind the scenes, and adding just the right touch of personality when it’s needed.

I create ceremonies that feel like real people: full of stories, warmth, honesty, and the occasional laugh in the right moments. Whether it’s a funeral, memorial, Wedding, or vow renewal, I take time to listen, understand, and craft something that genuinely reflects the person at the centre of it all. I’m comfortable navigating complex family dynamics, big emotions, and those beautifully imperfect moments that make each ceremony unique.

My style is contemporary, approachable, and grounded. I believe ceremonies should feel like a true reflection of the person. Not overly formal unless that’s what they loved, not overly sombre unless that’s what’s needed, and always delivered with care, clarity, and respect.

Based in Ormskirk, I cover West Lancashire, Sefton, Merseyside and surrounding areas. If you’re looking for a celebrant who brings warmth, professionalism, and a friendly dash of humour, I’d love to help create a ceremony that feels unmistakably personal.

What my clients say...

"We didn't want a somber, heavy service; we wanted something that truly captured Dad’s sense of humor and his love for a good story. The ceremony was beautiful, it felt less like a goodbye and more like a warm tribute. The storytelling was so vivid that it felt like Dad was right there in the room with us. It brought so much comfort to our family during a difficult time. I didn't think we would be laughing half way through the service, but I know for sure that's what dad would've wanted. Thank you Calum" - Lauren Beardsley

"We were a bit nervous about the ceremony feeling too stiff or formal, but it was the exact opposite. The ceremony was incredible—it felt like we were being married by a close friend who had known us forever. There were plenty of laughs, a few happy tears, and so many of our guests commented on how personal and 'us' the whole thing felt. Truly unforgettable." Matty and Chelsea O'Connor
