Hi, my name is Deborah and I'm an independent celebrant having trained with the International College of Professional Celebrants.
I've always been interested in people, their stories, what interests them, how they live their lives and what makes them happy. I think that's what life is all about, making new connections, sharing experiences and making special memories.
I feel very lucky to live in the pretty town of Marlow in Buckinghamshire and have been here for over ten years having lived in both London and Manchester.
I live with my husband who I've been with for over 25 years and my twin daughters who are just about to start college (which is making me feel very old!).
I've been told that I'm a good listener and excel in building relationships and connecting with others, having a knack of understanding people’s needs and concerns.
I'm adaptable and versatile and have strong interpersonal skills and enable me to work well with people and build strong lasting relationships.
Why would you choose me? I asked family and friends what four words would describe me, four words repeatedly came up which was vivacious, empathetic, confident and inquisitive, not a bad result!
