My whole career has been built around a single obsession: making words matter.
A drama degree gave me the foundations — how to hold a room, how to find the truth in a moment, how to make words land. Early in my career I performed stand-up comedy, which taught me things no classroom ever could: how to read an audience in real time, how to stay completely composed when something unexpected happens, and how to find the precise balance between laughter and something more sincere. The years that followed were spent in communications — working with clients to understand what they needed people to feel, then crafting the words and moments that made them feel it. Becoming a celebrant was always the destination.
I write every word from scratch. No templates, no borrowed scripts. Just your story, told exactly as it should be — with warmth, wit, and complete presence on the day.
Based in South West London, I speak Welsh and can incorporate it into ceremonies with accuracy and care. Pronunciation matters — especially for names and words that carry deep personal meaning. I have a good ear for it in any language.
Weddings are at the heart of my work — but I also get great joy from leading funerals and memorials, vow renewals, baby namings, handfastings and gender affirmation ceremonies.

Kate’s warmth, humanity and perception left me feeling reassured that, despite the complicated relationships in life, my uncle’s passing had been honoured as a loss with respect and ultimately with love.
