I am a trained, qualified, and insured celebrant who creates beautiful, personalised and inclusive ceremonies.
Whether a quirky wedding, a hopeful naming ceremony or a healing funeral, I make sure each ceremony reflects the unique lives and values of the people being honoured. I set the tone for people to express their feelings of love, gratitude and, at times, loss. I welcome laughter, tears and whatever people need to let out in the moment. I work with care so you can feel confident and supported throughout.
I specialise in supporting people to plan their own funeral, helping them shape a ceremony that truly reflects their wishes. I help people find meaningful community venues for funerals – crematoria are not for everyone. The eulogy writing service I provide supports families who wish to lead the funeral ceremony of their loved one.
For over twenty-five years, I worked in community development and charitable organisations, including twelve years as a chief executive. I have a passion for people who put their energy into communities, and I completed a doctorate researching women activists who tackle gendered violence.
My community work values shape my celebrant practice. I run a community initiative called Solidarity Ceremonies to provide celebrant support to people struggling to meet the cost of a ceremony. My social purpose is to help improve ceremony options for people.
