I am Katie Barrie, a professionally trained celebrant, and I work closely with individuals and families to create ceremonies that are as unique and meaningful as the people at the heart of them.

I take the time to listen and understand what matters most to you: your stories, your values, your voice, so your ceremony reflects who you are. Whether it’s a funeral, wedding, vow renewal, or naming ceremony, I craft every moment with care and intention.

I’m also passionate about helping everyone understand the freedom they have in shaping their ceremonies. There is no single way to honour a loved one, celebrate a marriage, or welcome a new child – each ceremony should be as unique as the people it’s about. My role is to create thoughtful, bespoke, and deeply personal occasions.  As someone once told me, “We speak for the dead and are the voice of love.” That phrase has always stayed with me.
